Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: I was really impressed by the staff at the Honey Cottages, who seemed genuinely pleased to help you. The cottages are run like a family firm and indeed a lot of them are nephews of the owner, Sam,and are great guys to a man. The bungalows are clean, roomy and great value.

Day 1: checked in after 3pm - they showed us to the wrong room (cheaper room not facing the beach); had to wait for half an hour to get a better room prepared. Had 3 hours of not electricity and no water (a few hotels affected)
Day 2: Came back at nearly 4pm after the day out, they were just cleaning the room - soap etc not replenished, room not properly swept. No water for more than an hour just after we returned
Day 3: room not thoroughly cleaned.
Overall:
- very average bathroom, not very well maintained
- small room, very little space to hang clothes, towels etc
- light, a little soiled white curtains, so forget about sleeping in after sunrise.
We spent much time researching Samui hotels - rates and reviews were good; so this was a real let-down

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Room and staff were excellent. Wifi excellent. Breakfast mainly good. I would have liked a social area, but the bar was not comfortable due to unpleasant beat music. It was usually nearly empty, so other people may think the same. The music from next door cafe was even more unpleasant and rather spoiled the lounge chair area. Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: This hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. Not that the room are extraordinary, but the atmosphere and the hospitaly are best. The resturang have very fresh and good food. Here you have breakfest every morning were they make your food on order. Not a buffé which stays 3 hours in the morning.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Very nice placed cottages close to a quite ok beach. The bar at the hotel insist on playin music every day from 10 am until 11 pm which is very sad. ( This is the only hotel around the beach that does this.) The room needs refurbishment and feels now rather overpriced. Brekfast is kind of boring. Very nice food at the restaurant though. Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Honey Cottages the 1st being in 2008 this year we brought all the family we love the place great surroundings, everything we need, and from the bar staff, to the cleaners to the receptionists, excellent service, food delicious. I have the greatest respect for the Thai people you can only be happy when you are with them,we could learn a great deal about hospitality from them. Wonderful holiday

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Room ok, bungalow directly on the beach. Sundbeds and beachtowels available, the beach has good shadow places. Hotel restaurant not too good, but there are several others to go to directly near by. Nice beach bar with good cocktails.
No WiFi, but Internet access at the lobby.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: This is a very nice hotel with a group of delightful cottages right on a quiet beach. The staff were friendly and helpful - for example, they noticed we had been putting on pajamas on some cool evenings and then brought us a light duvet for the bed - very thoughtful. Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Choeng Mon beach is a fantastic location if you want to live on a quieter beach. Unfortunately the weather wasn t great when we stayed there and we couldn t lie on the beach (it was cloudy and rainy) and in that case there isn t that much to do. The hotel bungalow was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly! For something extra I recommend dinner at Sala Samui a bit further up the beach!

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: good for the price, located on a quite beach (which could be much nicer if the resort owners along it kept it tidy....but that seems to be an issue all around thailand!). the resort is starting to look a bit dated, but rooms were clean. staff s english is not too good (but again that is an issue across thailand at these level of resorts). close enough to everything, but far enough away from chewang. An amazing small friendly resort right at the waters edge situated on what we feel was the best beach remaining on Samui. Staff are fantastic, lovely Restaurant and bar right on the beach. Stunning Sea veiw s from our cottage.
Good basic accomodation with a personal touch including everything you need for a very enjoyable stay.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Booked a garden bungalow in this hotel; it was clean and a nice size, with a good bathroom. Bedroom had a TV, safe, mini bar, and you got 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water every day. Breakfast was included in the Honey Seafood restaurant at the end of Choeng Mon beach. Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: It is not easy to find, the street is very bad, but the resort and its location is very good. The beach is very beautiful, but not much good for swimming because of some rocks in the water. Opposit of the Beach is a small Island which can be reached by walking. The water is not deep. The Bungalow was clean and beautiful. Breakfast and Restaurant is directly on the Beach.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Very nice place to stay at, with very friendly staff. We had a reservation for four nights, but we stayed six nights instead because we loved the place. The beach was wonderful and peaceful and only 20 meters away from our garden view room. The breakfast was not good, but you can live with that because everything else was perfect.
