Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Smile House lived up to its name. We loved it. We did have a two bedroom, two bathroom, sitting room and a lovely outside balcony. Excellent for four and cost around 100 a night. Breakfast was included and apart from the coffee being so strong(I love mine strong) it was nice. The location in Boput was fantastic, right on the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shopping was great and the location was easily accessable to some great day tours. We would go back in a flash.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: We loved it. Lucked out at chosing Smile House Loved the location and the family atmosphere. Your staff are lovely and very helpful. Love the addition of the beach massage tent. We got a going away massage on the 13th.
Would definitely recommend and refer
Great for the price as well.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: We have stayed in the smile house many times and always find it fantastic rooms are cleaned everyday huge bed and fresh flowers were in the room which was a lovely touch, showers are are very low pressure but it doesnt cause a huge problem, prime location with everything you need on you door. The spa is very handy and would recommend the massage very relaxing and private little more pricey than most places but you get what you pay for.One improvement would be the pool area service there are no refreshments would be nice if a service was provided to serve refreshemnts around the pool apart from that i would highly recommed to anyone young or old see you next year ! We were emailed before we went to Thailand to let us know that the resort restuarant would be unavailable during our stay, and asking whether we would like to change our booking. We didn t but it was good of them to ask.
Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: We stayed for two weeks. The room was nice and clean and the staff were really friendly. The restaurant was still being built but they gave us as much breakfast as we wanted every morning in our rooms, providing we ordered the night before. Once or twice they gave us more than we asked for.
The weren t that many other guests so there was plenty of room by the pools and the resort is very close to the beach and shops/restaurants. It was quiet so would be fine for families. There were fancier looking resorts in Bophut but this one was good fot the price, and some of the fancier resorts were slightly further out of town.
It is also easy to get around Samui; about 50bt by taxi-bus to Chaweng. Bophut is generally much calmer than Chaweng.
The only negative thing I would say is that we found quite a lot of mosquitos around the balcony so sitting out there could be quite uncomfortable, but overall I would recommend the resort. [SamuiPortalen.se integr.ERR:escaping]

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We were very disappointed on arrival to be told that the beach front dining hall was closed for refurbishment. This was during the second week of November 2011. This resulted in breakfast being delivered to our bungalow each morning. Not the end of the world but it would ave much nicer overlooking the beach. The refurbishment also resulted in loud mechanical noise during the day.
The resort looked very nice and the swimming pool and spa very enticing. However it just seemed to lack a heart . We felt as If we were staying alone rather than part of a resort.

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Smile house was great value for money and we wouldn t hesitate to stay again. The pools are clean and a godsend as we were a little disappointed with the beach, the sand is very course shingle and the sea was very cloudy. The resort wasn t busy while we were there so that helps. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained by the maid service and everyone is helpful if you have a problem. Could be a bit more nicer whit some new paint,but garden is great with super swimmingpools.Breakfast also good.I only expected some more from the beach,water was very dirty.

In the end of Fishermans Village.
We had an Luxury 2-Bedroom-Villa, not 2Star its a 4Star Resort.
2 very clean Pools, clean Rooms, perfect service, the Restaurant was great, directly by the beach, Pizza like in Italy (the children like it).
The Bungalow had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 3 airconditioners (very important at august)like 90 m2 and a beautiful terras. [SamuiPortalen.se integr.ERR:escaping]

Övriga kommentarer om hotellet: Har akkuratt hatt to fantastiske uker i Juli og bodde på Smile house resort. Hyttene var av helt grei standard og alle hadde veranda og air condition. To svømme basseng og spa avdeling. Servicen der er helt fantastisk og resorten ligger helt perfekt. Bophut beach er rolig og er et sted som man kan slappe av og spise god mat. Mange boder og mye spennende mat da man bor i Fishermans village. Mere normal shopping finner man 10 min unna i mere hektiske omgivelser (chaweng og tesco)

The houses are situated in a lovely garden and there are two great swimmingpools which aren t too crowded. The seaside restaurant provides great food, especially the Tom Yum is to die for.
